Wear Your Roots is a fun, hands-on family workshop inspired by African and Caribbean traditions, creativity and the natural world.
Explore how plants and natural materials can create beautiful colours, then use your discoveries to design and decorate your own T-shirt. Participants will learn about natural African dyes, experiment with colour and get creative through a practical T-shirt-making activity.
Each child will create their own unique piece of wearable art to take home. The workshop offers a relaxed space for families to make, learn and create together while exploring connections between nature, heritage and identity.
