Windrush Fete and Caribbean High Tea is a themed event celebrating Leicester’s Windrush Community on the 75th anniversary of the arrival of HMS Windrush to Britain. Join us we celebrate to the sounds of Ska and Mento, delivered by a live band. Hosted By Judith Jacob (The Real McCoy, Eastenders), accompanied by Poet Jeff Reid.

Food vendors offering a flavour of the Caribbean and the best of Leicester

This event takes place to mark the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the Windrush Communities. We encourage all communities to come, learn and have a taste of what Caribbean life is all about, as told in the presence of the generation we care for so much.
